A few months back, we told you that Honda had a redesigned CR-V in the works for 2012. Now, the automaker announced that the new affordable compact SUV is set to debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. Joining the 2012 CR-V is an all-electric version of the Honda Fit, which is slated for the 2013 model year.The introduction of the Fit EV will likely help Honda establish its stake in the electric vehicle market, which currently includes cars like the Nissan Leaf, Mitsubishi i and the upcoming Chevrolet Spark EV. “Borrowing heavily from the look of the internal-combustion Fit, the EV concept featured a high-density coaxial motor and a lithium-ion battery park,” writes Edmunds. “The concept has a top speed of 90 mph and has 70-100 miles of driving range per charge.”
